Instructions for 'Autumn Leaves' on Parchment Card.
Instructions are from one of the popular classes given by Freyja
You will need:
- Blade Rubber 050H Leaf stamp and 013M Dandelion Head Stamp
- Brilliance White Inkpad
- Versamark Inkpad
- Detail Gold and Clear Embossing Powders
- Parchment Paper approx. 12cm x 8cm
- Waffle or Similar Paper approx. 13cm x 9cm
- Brown Card approx. 14cm x 10cm
- Main Card, either Hand made or textured beige A6 size
- Skeleton Leaf and a Pressed Autumn Leaf, we used a Beech Leaf
- 50cm Piece of String
- Peel offs or Greetings stamp
- Double Sided Tape or Craft Glue
Directions:
- Press Skeleton Leaf onto the Versamark pad and lightly emboss with gold.
- Randomly stamp the dandelion onto the parchment using the white brilliance inkpad.
- Stamp the leaves around the edge of the brown card Versamark and embossed with clear powder.
- Attach the skeleton leaf to the parchment with tape, placing the tape on the part of the leaf that will be covered by the beech leaf. Add a small piece also at the tip.
- Tape or glue the beech leaf over and add a string bow at the top.
- Tape the parchment layer, again using the tape under the leaf parts so that it cannot be seen and adhere to the waffle layer. Tiny bits of tape can be hidden under the dandelions for further fixing. With care tape should hardly show. The tearableš type of double -sided tape is best for this purpose.
- Glue/tape onto the brown card and main card.
- These layers look more interesting when slightly offset. (Not quite centrally placed).
- Add a greeting of choice.
Note
Trim all pieces of card before assembling. As leaves vary in size you might need to vary the suggested card measurements for a pleasing result.
