Instructions For Pearl Ex card

The instructions are from one of the popular classes given by Freyja

You will need

• Blade Rubber Stamp BR004S
• Versamark Inkpad.
• Black Detail Embossing Powder.
• Jade, Crimson, and Gold PearlEx.
• 'Klear' Vinyl Floor Polish or Clear Glass Paint Gel.
• Piece of Heat Resistant Acetate, we used Laser Printer OHP Film.
• Pieces of Gold paper, Dark Green and Copper Cardstock for Mounting.
• Cream Card.
• Acrylic Paint Brush no 4.
• Trim of Choice.

Instructions

1. Stamp and Emboss Image on the Acetate.
2. Mix a small amount of Klear or glass gel with each PearlEx colour.
   Make the mixture quite thick for a strong colour: more Klear can be added if required.
3. Paint the colours in 'drifts' as shown. If more colour needed apply after the first coat dries.
4. Trim closely and mount onto the gold paper backing then the green and copper card.
5. Mount onto the main card using double sided tape
6. Make a second score line on the card 1-2 cm from the folded edge and fold outwards.
   Tape at the old fold line and the card will open from the new fold.
   This gives a flat area for attaching ribbon etc.
